For the first time in several years, the Utah Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CTSI) is updating service rates, effective July 1, 2025. This adjustment reflects the rising costs of operations, inflationary pressures, and actual utilization data.

The following service recharge centers have posted updated rates on their websites:

• Community Collaboration & Engagement Team (CCET)
• Biomedical Informatics Core (BMIC)
• Clinical Research Unit (CRU)
• Cellular Translational Research Core (CTRC)
• Translational Research: Implementation, Analysis, Design (TRIAD)

We remain deeply committed to supporting high-quality research by providing state-of-the-art services and expert collaborative support. As we navigate this transition, our goal is to continue delivering exceptional value and partnership to our research community.

Several of our CTSI resources and services remain free for all (supported by NIH and institutional funding), and we have a voucher program to offset service costs for early stage investigators.

We will apply these rates with the initiation of a new project and/or with the submission of an external funding proposal after July 1, 2025. If you have questions about how the rate updates may affect your current or upcoming projects, please reach out directly to the relevant team.
