March 12, 2025 - DARPA: Proposer's Day for Securing Artificial Intelligence for Battlefield Effective Robustness (SABER) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA)
DARPA I2O is sponsoring an unclassified hybrid Proposers Day in support of the anticipated Securing Artificial Intelligence for Battlefield Effective Robustness (SABER) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). The purpose of this event is to provide information on the SABER technical goals and challenges, address questions from potential proposers, and provide an opportunity for potential proposers to consider how their research may align with the SABER program objectives.
In coordination with the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Aerospace Hub and 47G are excited to host a 90-minute event to organize funding opportunity response teams within the research area of drones, unmanned aerial systems, and advanced aerial mobility. The overall goal of this event is to advance research infrastructure and institutional readiness to support highly competitive and cutting-edge Aerospace and advanced aerial mobility research capabilities. In coordination with the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Applied Medical & Engineering (AM&E) Lab are excited to host a 60-minute event to review emerging FY2025 Department of Defense (DOD) priorities and requirements. Primarily, this event will focus on identifying University of Utah research capabilities and existing research expertise on campus that aligns well with the DOD’s warfighting requirements supporting the core readiness of the armed forces. Current and Future Capabilities refers to the development of core readiness capabilities fueling the ability of military forces to fight and meet the demands of assigned missions, essentially, signifying a state of preparedness to engage in combat and fulfill operational requirements, which is primarily assessed through factors like personnel training, equipment availability, and overall unit cohesion.
