Dear colleagues,

We enthusiastically invite all faculty to attend the Research Writing Support Town Hall to introduce our new Grant Specialist, Kiki Karahalios. Kiki recently joined the VPR Office to support faculty and investigators with reviewing and editing research narratives for external research proposal submissions. Kiki is available to help faculty at any stage make their research accessible to a general audience through copyediting and assistance with writing.

This will be the first of several annual events hosted by Kiki and the VPR to better support researchers with confidence in the writing process. The purpose of this first event is two-fold:

1. Introduce Kiki Karahalios to the research community, share information on the services she provides, learn about future writing events and workshops, etc.
2. Hear community feedback/ideas for future research writing events and workshops.

This town hall will take place from 11:00am to 12:00pm (MST) on Friday, October 20^th, 2023. This is an in-person event. Location details will be provided when available.

Faculty at all levels and research staff are all welcome to attend. Please RSVP for this in-person retreat by October 4^th, 2023. RSVP is required to ensure a room with adequate seating can be arranged. RSVPs are accepted HERE.
