Dear Research Community,

The Health Science Office for the Associate Vice President for Research is pleased to announce the request for proposals for the 2025 Philanthropic Partners Group Innovation Award—see attached. Please submit applications by September 1^st, 2025 using theInfoReady platform. Awardees will be selected by the Philanthropic Partners Group on October 29, 2025, and funds will be awarded to researchers by December 31, 2025. Proposals can request up to $50k

The goal of this initiative is to ignite high-risk, potentially high-reward research programs that address critical societal issues and foster innovation, discovery, and collaboration in health-related scientific areas.

Proposals must:

• Be led by an early-stage (Assistant/Associate professors) researcher.
• Represents a new research direction. Research that is already supported by other extramural sources is not eligible.
• Be health sciences related.
