Communicating Research for Impact Workshop Series

Events

Researchers across the U are looking for ways to make their voices heard and communicate their research effectively. The U of U Health research communications team is proud to launch a new workshop series on effective science storytelling, focusing on how to talk, write, and post about research for broad audiences. Our goal is to give researchers the tools to level up your science communications, no matter your previous experience.

Our first workshop will be held on May 15th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will give you the skills to refine your message as you craft an elevator pitch tailored to your goals. Sophia Friesen, PhD, (they/them), Research Communications Manager, will host the May 15th workshop. Attendees will have the chance to practice, get peer feedback, ask questions, and explore additional tools and resources. RSVP link is below. These events are open to Health Sciences and Main Campus participants.
