NSF Responsible & Ethical Conduct of Research & Research Mentoring — Summer 2023


In response to National Science Foundation’s (NSF) new requirements for investigators and senior personnel, the Office of Research Education is offering six stand-alone classes this summer to ensure that University of Utah investigators and senior personnel receive training in Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research (RECR) and Research Mentoring. These classes are offered at no cost to University of Utah faculty, staff, and students.

Attending any one of these classes will satisfy the training requirements as stipulated in the Proposal and Award Policy and Procedures Guide (PAPPG 23-1). These 90-minute classes will be offered on the following times:

  • June 5 from 10-11:30 a.m.
  • June 13 from 9-10:30 a.m.
  • June 22 from 9-10:30 a.m.
  • July 13 from 9-10:30 a.m.
  • July 18 from 4-4:30 p.m.
  • August 17 from 9-10:30 a.m.
