Every summer, the Office of Undergraduate Research programs a nationally competitive opportunity that provides undergraduate students with an intensive 10-week summer research experience under the mentorship of a University of Utah faculty member: Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR). The pool of applications was incredibly competitive, with an outstanding 569 applications received. SPUR scholars from 20 different institutions working with faculty representing 21 different disciplines, are coming to the U May 19-August 1, 2025.
