On April 9, 2025 Undergraduate Studies in partnership with the 18 colleges, campus leadership, and faculty, celebrated the 2025 Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Awardees and Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Awardees. The event included inspiring opening remarks from Provost Mitzi Montoya and AVP Caren Frost.

The festivities also included recognition of research scholarship recipients from the Dee Foundation, Francis Family, and Parent Fund. Additionally, the 2025 Monson Essay Prize and Valadi N. Venkatesan Research Award were awarded. The event was surrounded by award-winning Undergraduate Research Symposium poster prize posters.
