You’re Invited: New U of U Health Virtual Workshop Series

The University of Utah Health research communications team is proud to launch a new virtual workshop series on effective science storytelling, focusing on how to talk, write, and post about research for broad audiences. Our goal is to give researchers the tools to level up your science communications, no matter your previous experience.

Our first workshop was held on May 15th. Workshops will continue to be held throughout the summer:

  • June 26: Using Social Media to Share Your Research (Andrea Gallegos, Web and Social Media Administrator for Research)
  • July 17: Media-Savvy Researcher: How to Navigate Interviews (Julie Kiefer, Research Communications Director)
  • August 14: Giving a Great Presentation (Kyle Wheeler, Marketing Manager for Research)

All workshops will be hosted virtually over Zoom. Researchers and science-interested individuals at al career stages are welcome! Visit the website here for full information, where RSVP links for future workshops will be posted.
