The Office of Undergraduate Research invites faculty to apply to be a faculty mentor for the Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR) 2026. We encourage all current faculty, both tenure-track and career-line, to apply to be a mentor. Project proposals led by faculty provides students with a hands-on research experience. Undergraduate researchers spend 35-40 per week working with faculty on the project and program related activities for the duration of the program. Benefits to faculty: the Office recruits, hires a full-time researcher to work on a faculty research project with program and activities wrapped around the student. Interested faculty mentors can also view a recording of the Faculty Mentor Information Session about SPUR that held on August 22 to learn more about the program.
Faculty Deadline: October 3, 2025.
