Faculty Mentor Applications due October 4 for the 2027 Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR)
The Office of Undergraduate Research invites faculty to apply to be a faculty mentor for the Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR) 2027. We encourage all current faculty, both tenure-track and career-line, to apply to be a mentor. Project proposals led by faculty provide students with a hands-on research experience. Undergraduate researchers spend 35-40 hours per week working with faculty on the project and program-related activities for the duration of the program. Benefits to faculty: the Office recruits, hires a full-time researcher to work on a faculty research project with program and activities wrapped around the student.
