Please join us for the 'Wasatch to Great Salt Lake Metadatabase Kickoff Event' Wednesday April 9^th from 1-2 pm on Zoom (details below). We will discuss how we as faculty can better share metadata about various datasets researchers at UU have produced in the Wasatch, adjacent basins, Great Salt Lake, and field stations. Our goal is to set parameters for metadata sharing between faculty. In the long run we envision this UU Wasatch to Great Salt Lake metadatabase being used to spark new connections, research, proposals, and help recruit. The metadata database can also include datasets from the Western US or other geographical regions. The disciplinary scope of the data shared is intentionally left vague, so a wide range of folks are welcome to highlight their efforts from sustained monitoring to one-off field campaigns.
