Nominations Open – EHS Partnership Awards 2025
The EHS Partnership Award recognizes University of Utah faculty and staff who demonstrate outstanding commitment to safety as a core value. These individuals go above and beyond in collaborating with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) to foster a strong culture of safety in their departments, labs, and workspaces.
Award recipients will receive a framed certificate and a $500 safety grant, which can be used toward enhancing safety in their area of work. Up to five awards will be given, and honorees will be recognized at the University of Utah STEM Safety Day on September 5, 2025.
Previous winners have included:
- Ryan Looper – College of Science
- Christopher Reilly – College of Pharmacy
- Allison Carey – School of Medicine, Pathology
- Mike Scarpulla – College of Engineering
- Jim Muller & Harold Simpson – Support Functions
