New Federal Funding Opportunities Newsletter – NIH, CDC, DOD, DOE, and NSF
University of Utah researchers and staff can sign-up now for a new funding opportunity newsletter through the Pivot-RP Database! This public newsletter highlights new funding published in the past week for NIH, CDC, NSF, DOE, and DOD. The newsletter is published every Friday morning and compiles information from the last 7 days. You must have an active Pivot-RP account to receive this newsletter. Instructions for accessing Pivot-RP and adding yourself to receive this newsletter are provided below. Research Education offers a free online/self-paced training for Pivot-RP (found HERE).
Due to the way Pivot collects these opportunities, please ensure you are checking for eligibility prior to preparing any application. Please also ensure that you contact vprgrants@utah.edu before applying to anything marked as “limited” – these are Limited Submission Opportunities that require an institutional selection and approval process.
Sign-up Instructions:
1) Navigate to https://pivot.proquest.com.
2) Login using your University of Utah credentials: There are two different pathways to login to Pivot-RP: “Using my institutional credentials” OR “Using my account credentials.”It is most common for users to access Pivot-RP utilizing the “login using my institution’s credentials” button. We recommend attempting to login this way first, especially if you have not previously accessed Pivot-RP.
Instructions using “my institution’s credentials”:
- Click the “use login from my institution” button
- Select “University of Utah”
- This will open a UofU page where you can enter your CIS credentials
- From the homepage, select “Groups” under the card that says “My Profile & Groups”
- Add yourself to the public list entitled “Federal Funding Updates – NIH, CDC, DOD, DOE, NSF”
If the above instructions do not work for you OR you know you have an existing account and are prompted to create a new account when logging in using institutional credentials, please attempt to use the “my account credentials” manual login.
3) From the homepage, select “Groups” under the card that says “My Profile & Groups”
4) Add yourself to the public list entitled “Federal Funding Updates – NIH, CDC, DOD, DOE, and NSF”
