New External Funding Opportunity: Developing Novel or Improved Infertility Technologies

A new funding opportunity has been published that focuses on the development of novel or improved infertility technologies.  The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to support and facilitate multidisciplinary research approaches for the development or improvement of technologies, including drugs, devices, products, or clinical practices designed to improve fertility outcomes in patients dealing with infertility, particularly in the context of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART). This NOFO aims to position innovative and validated technologies for future clinical development. This funding opportunity will use the R61/R33 phased award mechanism. Support will be provided for two years for the R61 phase, and up to three years of support may follow for the R33 phase.

Dr. Travis Kent, Program Officer in the Fertility and Infertility Branch of the Devision of Extramural Research at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Development, is point-of-contact for this RFA.
