NEH Funding Opportunities (Updated)
Extramural Funding
NEH was founded to support humanities scholarship. Founded in 1965, the NEH has promoted a simple ideal that resonates across time: “Democracy demands wisdom.”
Consistent with this mission, the NEH has released a new grant focused on the “State and Impact of the Humanities.” The program aims to expand our understanding of the role that the humanities play in private, public, and scholarly life by supporting data-grounded research studies that investigate the state, impact, and value of the humanities in the United States. You can read more about it here. You can watch a webinar about it here.
