Events
11/18/2025 Update:  Mark your calendars for Monday, March 2 - Thursday, March 5, 2026 to join us at the Washington Hilton in Washington D.C.! Our annual event for defense innovators is officially rescheduled for March. Attendees can expect a more intimate and interactive experience, with opportunities to apply what they learn, exchange ideas with peers, and contribute to actionable outcomes for the DoD. We appreciate your patience and participation as we refine the logistics of this event. Please check back for updates to the agenda and new registration details over the next few weeks.
The Department of Defense’s (DoD) Applied Innovation Workshop brings together project teams, implementation partners, industry innovators, and researchers to develop mission-focused solutions that enhance energy and resource resilience, protect warfighter health and safety, and strengthen the infrastructure needed to fight and win in contested environments. The workshop fosters cross-sector collaboration and practical pathways to improve warfighter capabilities across energy, environmental, and installation resilience domains. The Workshop will offer a variety of hands-on training sessions, technology demonstrations, networking events, poster presentations, and more. This event is hosted by the innovation programs under the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy Resilience & Optimization (DASD ER&O). Visit the event website to view the full agenda and learn more!
