The Office of the Vice President for Research is excited to host a 3-hour Autism Research Working Group Retreat to bring the University of Utah Autism research community together. With this event, we hope to identify related and existing areas of strength on campus, hear lightning talks from active researchers in this space, and discuss emerging research opportunities in this area. The goal of this event is to help mobilize potential research teams on these topics.
We invite researchers, faculty, students, and community partners to submit lightning talks that relate to:
- Active research projects
- Findings from ongoing or past research projects
- Areas of interest or collaboration for future research proposals
- High priority areas of research identified by the Autism community
Guidance on Lightning Talk Presentations:
- Lightning talks will be limited to a maximum of 5-slides and 3-5 minutes per person. The presentation should regard your past, current, or planned research in this space.
- Space for lightning talks is limited. Please indicate on your registration form whether you are interested in submitting a lightning talk.
- You may also upload your slides as part of the registration or submit them to Natalie McElroy.
